seven months is a fun age to be

on saturday, i became seven months old. mommy is sad because i'm growing up, but at the same time she's kind of happy because it means that i can sort of play by myself for awhile now and since i learned to sit up i actually enjoy doing that.

daddy put my new big boy carseat in the truck. i liked it so much i had a poop blowout on it.

so the last month, i learned so many new things. i learned how to sit up without any help. i learned how to pull myself to standing. i learned how to hold my toys in my hands and bang them together. i learned how to blow raspberries all the time. i learned how to splash the water in my bathtub everywhere. i learned how to commando crawl, backwards. i discovered again how to shriek. mommy and daddy didn't like that so much.

i love when mom puts on the kids music channel. or when she lets me watch big comfy couch. she tries not to let me watch too much TV but i like it alot. i go into a trance. [maybe that's why mommy doesn't want me to watch it?]

we're busy right now getting ready for my uncle nathan to come live with us. i'm excited. but i hope he doesn't think i'm going to share my toys.

so here's the picture from last month, my six month picture. remember i said mom had to take it with granana's disposable camera? it's not the best picture, but sometimes you gotta make do!

and here's the one for this month!

i like lights.

mommy and daddy had me model again. i think i'm getting better at it, what do you think?

daddy was throwing my toy balls in the air and catching them so fast that i couldn't even see them. it was amazing. he's really a pretty cool dad, you know.

daddy says it's never too early to prepare me for my life as a baseball star.

a soft pillow to lay on, baby einstein on the tube. it's all a kid needs, really.

the noel news

hello! how is everyone? i have to say i'm not too bad at all. really. it's been a fun few weeks for me. mommy and daddy like to take pictures of all the new things i do, and i do new things all the time, so the camera is getting a real workout. and then of course, you all benefit, because you get to look at pictures. of me!

i'm learning how to sit up. most of the time i tip over, but i'm getting much better at it.

at the end of last month, mommy, daddy, granana, grandma di, grandpa and i went to the cabin for the weekend. it was so much fun! i went into the lake for the first time, swam in the kiddie pool, and had my first playdate with a girl.

after we got back from the cabin, mommy and daddy found out that i am allergic to peas. i LOVED peas. pears, bananas, oatmeal. pfft. i wanted peas. but they gave me a really bad rash and it was sad. but now i'm better, because the doctor gave me some cream to put on. i asked mommy and daddy to help me with it, though.

last weekend, we took granana to the farmer's market, and we had dinner out, and then the next day i got to go the zoo with hailey, auntie mandy, auntie crystal and uncle romeo. that was lots of fun! i spent a lot of time asleep, though. i needed a nap. then after that, we took granana to stay with uncle kevin. i miss her a lot!

on monday, we went to the pool and daddy took me down the waterslide. i don't even get the point of that. but that's alright. daddy was excited.

anyways, here's some pictures for you all.

this is me in my pool, with my floaty. it came in handy since i can't sit up on my own.

forget toys. chairs are the best!

me and daddy are ready to go in the lake!

sometimes they even take pictures of stuff other than me:

it's important to always jump with a buddy.

that's my date, natalie and her grammy. i was almost as big as natalie is, but she's five months older than me!

i don't know why she didn't want to wrestle.

we swam in the pool, too!

here's hailey and i at the zoo.

look! sitting up!

at least mommy had the decency to cover me with a cloth. geez, celebrities get no privacy at all.
