noel's quick guide to being almost 15 months old.

the camera was broken.

learn to walk. when you are doing this, the best way to keep your balance is to stick out your tongue.

take a bath every night before bed. while in the bath, make sure you use a flat hand for splashing - this maximizes your splashdown area.

make your mommy and uncle laugh. take a box. any box will do. i used this toy box. now empty it, and put it on your head. when your head is in the box, laugh. this makes them laugh.

grow. grow from this:

to this:

[this maneuver will also almost always guarantee a sibling or two.]

do the easter things they ask you to do, even if they seem a little odd. collect the eggs and put them in a basket.

you will be rewarded for this effort.

later, your grandma might let you throw the eggs everywhere. make sure you help her to clean them up.

pose with a cute face a couple of times. both grandpa and mommy have their cameras out.

hang out with your cousin, even if she wants to put you in a box.

she might try to feed you things that aren't there. being older makes you see things.

you also get a helicopter when you get older. when you're even older, you'll think that thing is a steamer.

carry your cousin's present into the house. it's important that you seem generous and giving. the toy is a my little pony anyways. you don't want it.

always bring a stick when you go for a walk. they come in handy for hitting things and poking things.

pretend you have pockets on your pants, even if you don't. it makes you look cool.

finally, when they take you to the dinosaur museum, make sure you at least pretend to read the information cards.

and pose when they want you to. being a baby model is hard work but you can handle this task.
